I live in downstate New York with my husband, two kids and massive dog. By day I run an HR department, but in almost all my other spare moments, I write. I'm a member of Manuscript Academy and Scribophile. When I'm not doing any of that, I'm probably baking.

When I'd been married for 18 years, I realized I couldn't live without my husband.
To be clear, I definitely loved him before that moment. Thought he was the best person on earth. But something changed during a business trip that year. I realized that I'd no longer be okay if for some reason he was no longer in my life. I'd cease to exist as the person I'd become so accustomed to being. It would be a non-survivable event.
That's when the stories came flowing out. I called my writing Love in Peril, because my characters were so often in danger, under threat or being destabilized. I've loved writing for my entire life, but my work had become stories about two people who loved each other, put to the test. I realized I was working through all the complex feelings I had about being married to someone who held my very existence in his hands.
Now I'm working on putting those stories out into the world. I'm writing upmarket romance blended with themes such as political instability, mental health and literal survival. If you'd like to see more, take a look at my Projects page.
